Global grill also known as SIGREE is the most incredible place visited. I have visited this place for first time in my 10th grade after my board exams. In the evening we went to celebrate my last day of my exam. Believe me or not but it was worth it. The place was neat, clean and air conditioned. Every time I visited this place, there is slight change in the menu. The food over there is incredible and delicious. There are two type of courses- STARTER and MAIN COURSE. We don't have to order starter. In each table there are two grills fit inside the table. Then we are served with starters which is kept in grill. Starters can be vegetarian such as different kinds of paneer, mushroom, potato, pineapple and corn and non vegetarian such as different kinds of chicken, prawns and fish. The grilled starters kept varying every time I visited the restaurants. Sometimes they serve us dumplings, momos or non veg popcorn. The only thing which is same is breads and dips. Dips are palatable to be eaten with bread. There is a striker like thing which is green and red in color. If the striker is green, it indicates that the waiter will continue serving the starter. When the striker is red, they will stop serving the starter.

Then comes the main course. The specialty of the main course is Goan Curry fish. It is said to be the shinning star of the main course. People should taste the fish once in the lifetime. Even the main course keeps changing every time we visit the restaurant. Though few things like veg/ non veg biriyani, mac and cheese, hakka noodles, paneer curry, assorted breads remains same, others keep changing. But just like starters, main course is worth a shot and finger licking too. Soups are my most favourite part. Veg/ Non veg are excellent. Many may think that soup is bland and less interesting but 'SIGREE' soup is best to taste.
Now comes dessert. I am not big fan of dessert but this is from my mom's opinion who is big fan of dessert and my observation. Whenever I come across desserts , I could see chocolate mousse cake, strawberry cheesecake, jalebi, rasagulla and ice cream of different flavor all of which remains same most of the time. When I tasted those things, it worth it. Jalebi was crunchy and sweet, rasagulla with rabri is very juicy and milky, strawberry cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake is well balanced when it comes to taste. Mousse keeps changing during my visits (mango, strawberry, blueberry, kiwi etc.). Even sponge cakes are available and keep differentiating. Once in blue moon even kulfi and strawberry/pistachio softies were served too.
As for ambiance it was pleasant and calm. Service was good. Food was delicious and mouth watering. Overall menu composition was excellent and worth it. Presentation of food was ok. But we had to walk all the way from your table to buffet counter all the time during main course. Even pineapple grill is not a good idea as sweet fruit like pineapple marinated with spice and grilled is not a good time and it doesn't taste so good. Since all the food is grilled, smoke from the kitchen tends to enter the restaurant which can be avoided and improved on.
Heightened cradles were provided to babies so their height will be high enough to reach the table. Even the drink jal jeera was refreshing. So in conclusion, I would just say that SIGREE is one of the best restaurants in Powai.

SIGREE has great future ahead so they improve on the points. Table arrangement is bit crowded for small places so they can make improvements on it. SIGREE is high on demand. It is crowded all the time as this place is good for holding parties and functions. SIGREE is high on demand so pre booking of seats should be done. Hope you enjoyed it and you may visit the restaurant soon.
